摘要
语言学界在译介ethnopragmatics这一术语时,理解和翻译存在一定分歧,根据其理论基础和方法论,主张将其翻译为民族志语用学。
Ethnopragmatics,as a new perspective of pragmatics against the traditional universalism,aims to study the pragmatic rules of a particular culture from the insiders＇ view. In introducing this new progress of pragmatics into China,Chinese scholars have translated the term in several different ways. This article intends to compare these translations and tentatively propose a more faithful translation through reviewing the theoretical foundation and methodology of ethnopragmatics.
