摘要
中国-东盟博览会在广西的成功举行,使得对口译人员的需求也随之增长。由于不同历史、地域和文化背景,与标准英语相比,东盟国家的英语产生了大量的变体,其中语音的变体对口译员提出了更高的要求。本文基于东盟国家英语语音变体的主要特征分析,旨在为中国-东盟博览会探寻有效的口译策略。
There is a greater demand for interpreters with the success held of China-ASEN Expo in Guangxi, meanwhile English phonetic variations in ASEAN countries due to different history; region and culture background makes the interpretation more and more difficult. On the basis of analyzing the main features of English phonetic variations in ASEAN countries, the paper suggests a series of effective interpretation strategies.
