The concept and significance of big data were introduced firstly, it was pointed out that big data will bring far-reaching impact on the future social life. Then, the related technologies of big data in detail were analyzed and the problems that need to be addressed were pointed out. Next, comparing big data and cloud computing, the similarities and differences between them were described. Meanwhile, how to deal with big data was discussed and the relevant proposals were put forward.
