摘要
金融危机爆发以来,关于美国经济的现状和发展前景,国际、国内意见纷呈。在促进美国经济增长的主要变量中,技术自生能力为经济增长提供了源动力,人口规模和结构构成了经济增长的根基,经济增长的核心环节是教育科研体系,法律制度则为美国经济的增长提供了良好的制度保障。这四个变量共同构成了一个"四维一体"的经济增长模式。通过对这种增长模式的历史和现实的考量发现,促进美国经济发展强大的内生变量未发生根本变化,因此,目前唱衰美国的经济实力还为时尚早。
The decline of U.S. economic power has again been a hot topic in the world since the 2008 financial crisis. From the perspective of American economic history, this paper first analyzes a pair of concepts which are economic power and economic hegemony, then works on the historical development of American economic power, and finally moves onto its present situation. This paper concludes that American economic power will continue to grow, because the essential components of America economic power, including technological innovation, population scale, educational system and legal system, have not changed fundamentally
