摘要
作为全国红树林面积最大的自然保护区,广东湛江红树林国家级自然保护区以其独特的自然资源和良好的区位优势吸引了大量公众前来参观学习。为了充分发挥保护区的科普优势,提高公众的环境保护意识,保护区正积极探索行之有效的科普宣教模式,建立完整的解说系统,开展形式多样的宣教活动,目前保护区已成为广大市民接受生态环保、湿地物种等科普知识教育的理想基地。介绍了保护区开展科普宣教的资源优势、工作现状和主要做法,并就改进保护区宣教模式,提高宣教成效提出了建议。
As the largest mangrove nature reserve in China, Zhanjiang Mangrove National Nature Reserve, with unique natural and cultural sceneries at a favorable location, attracts lots of people to visit. The reserve is exploring an effective education module and carrying out various education activities. At present, the reserve has become an ideal base for the local citizens to receive environmental education. This paper presents an introduction of the natural resources, current status and major activities of its environmental education. Suggestions on further improvement of the education module and strengthening of its education effectiveness were proposed.
