摘要
河南省上白垩统与古近系均为陆相沉积 ,在全省范围内 ,两者间呈假整合或不整合接触 ,在沉积特征上显示出较大的差异 ,在古生物群的演化方面 ,也各自具有不同的特色。界线上的间断 ,反映了燕山事件序列第 幕在河南的普遍存在 ,它控制了河南新生代沉积盆地的形成和发展 ,进而影响中国大陆的地质演化历史。因此 ,河南省白垩系与古近系界线的确定 ,可以为我国中、新生代界限和白垩系 -古近系界线的研究 。
The upper Cretaceous and Paleogene are of continental sediments in Henan Province, and the boundary between them considered to be unconformable or disconformable because of the very difference in sedimentation and biological assemblages. The discontinuious sedimentation of the boundary strata indicats that the fifth stage of the Yangshan Movement was widespread in the study areas, and it was this tectonic movement that controlled the formation and evolution of the Cenozoic basins in Henan Province, even much influenced the geological evolution of the continent of China. Thus, the study is extremely useful in the further research on the Mesozoic Cenozoic or Cretaceous Paleogene boundary in China. Key word Cretaceous and Paleoogene System, fauna, sedimentary and lithological characters, Yanshan Movement, Henane third level fault has eminent influence on sand bodies. For example, fan head, mid fan and far end of alluvial fan or fan delta developed near the lower part of the faults. These findings could be used to predict the location of sand bodies and have great significances in directing the petroleum exploration.
