摘要
澳大利亚英语经过 2 0 0多年的发展已形成有别于英式英语和美式英语的一种独具特色的英语。其独特之处表现在交际中的称谓、用词、口音、构词、语音、语调、语法等方面。因而 ,人们初到澳洲必定有个熟悉语言的过程。其特色作为澳洲民族文化的一个组成部分 ,一定会健康地发展下去。
Australian English has developed for over two hundred ye ars into a language with its own features, quite different from British English and American English. The features mainly lie in greetings, word-choosing, acce nt, word formation, pronunciation, intonation and grammar. Thus, when one comes to Australia, it must take him some time to get familiar with the features. All these specific features as a part of Australian culture will further develop he althily
