摘要
利用水模型观察连铸结晶器内导致钢坯质量下降的涡流现象,提出蛇型结构结晶器水模型,撒入黑芝麻以显示结晶器内自由液面流谱,用可调曝光时间的照相机记录涡流图案.实验中观察到较为稳定的单个涡和偶尔出现的两个对称涡现象.在数值模拟中,将浸入式水口移离中心位置,从而可产生偏流和涡流.实验与模拟的结果表明:结晶器内三维偏流导致涡流的出现,涡流位于水口较低流速一侧,涡流强度取决于拉速和水口偏离中心的程度.
A water model experiment was conducted to study the vortexing flow in continuous casting mold. The snake-shaped Plexiglas model was designed to substitute the actual mold, the camera was used to record the flow patterns and the flow patterns were visualized by injecting the black sesames into water. A mathematical model has been developed to analyze the vortexing flow in the slab continuous casting process. By moving the submerged entry nozzle (SEN) from center to off-center, the vortexing flow can be reproduced in the numerical simulation. A vortex or two vortices have been observed. The existence of vortexing flow is shown to result from three-dimensional biased flow in the mold. The simulation results show that the vortex is located at the low velocity side adjacent to the SEN, and vortex strength depends on the local horizontal velocity of fluid and decreases gradually with distance from the free surface. The vortex size depends on the biased distance of the SEN, and intensity of the vortexing flow depends on the casting speed of the continuous caster.
