摘要
在光纤通信中已经有利用光脉冲的初始啁啾来进行色散补偿的运用 .文中从理论上分析了光脉冲的初始啁啾与单模光纤的色散效应的关系 ,并用数值仿真的方法验证了分析的结果 :线性初始啁啾可以在一定程度上补偿一阶色散 。
The initial chirp of optical pulse has been used to compensate dispersion in optical fiber communication. The relation between the initial chirp of optical pulse and the dispersive function of a single mode fiber has been studied. It has been shown from simulation that the linear initial chirp of optical pulse can compensate first order dispersion to some extent, but it increases the distortion effects of the high order dispersion on the transmitting optical pulse.
