面向增材制造的索杆结构节点拓扑优化设计 被引量:33

Additive manufacturing oriented topology optimization of nodes in cable-strut structures

摘要 将连续体结构的拓扑优化技术引入索杆张力结构的节点设计。以肋环人字型索穹顶结构中的若干典型节点为研究对象,使用优化程序Altair Solidthinking Inspire进行给定荷载条件下的静力拓扑优化。优化过程中,以体积约束下最大化刚度以及应力约束下最小化质量为目标。进一步提取优化结果的关键拓扑特征并在Evolve中重建模,得到受力合理、形式新颖且富有设计美感的节点。利用有限元软件ABAQUS对优化节点和原设计节点进行受力性能分析,对优化节点的力学性能作出评价。分析结果表明:对于直接提供刚度的节点,宜以体积约束下的最大化刚度作为首选优化目标;而当节点主要连接构件而不直接提供刚度时,可以最小化质量作为优化目标。最后利用增材制造技术对复杂不规则几何形状的优化节点进行实际制造。 Topology optimization technology was introduced into the design of nodes in cable-strut structures. Taking several typical nodes in a herringbone ribbed cable dome structure as research objects, the optimization program Altair Solidthinking Inspire was used to carry out static topology optimization under given load cases, where maximization of stiffness under volume constraint and minimization of mass under stress constraint were taken as optimization objectives. Key topology features were further extracted from the optimized results and new models were built by the usage of Evolve, leading to nodes with rational load-bearing behavior and design aesthetic perception. Finite element software ABAQUS was employed to analyze and compare the mechanical property of optimized nodes with initial designed ones in order to comment on the mechanical performance of the new designed nodes. For the nodes which are supposed to directly provide the stiffness, maximization of stiffness under volume constraint should be chosen as the primary optimization objective. For the nodes that serve as connecting components rather than providing stiffness, minimization of mass could be the optimization objective. Finally, additive manufacturing is utilized to realize practical manufacturing of the optimized nodes with complex and irregular geometry.
