The Progress and Development of Proteomic Research

摘要 介绍了蛋白质组学研究的意义、策略与范围 ,评述了蛋白质组学研究技术与发展趋势 ,并根据我国该领域的研究现状对其进一步发展提出了呼吁。 In a post genome era, researchers in life sciences will pay more attention to the functional genomics. One of the most important areas in functional genomics is proteomics, which analyzes all the proteins in a genome. Two major strategies have been used for proteomic research. One is to study all the expressed proteins at the same time, the other is to compare proteomes under different conditions in order to identify the differential proteins. The main techniques used in proteomics are two dimensional electrophoresis and mass spectrometry.
