摘要
从卡片目录到机读目录是图书馆目录体系发展中的一大飞跃。机读目录的出现 ,并不意味着卡片目录时代的结束 ,在今后一段时间内 ,卡片目录应与机读目录并存 ,共同为不同层次的读者服务。
The evolution from card catalog to MARC is a great leap in the development of the library catalog system. However, the emergence of MARC does not mean the end of card catalog. In a certain period of time to come, the two will, and should coexist so as to serve the readers of diverse levels.
