Acanthopanax is a kind of ancient medicinal plant in China. Nowadays it is regarded as both medicine and food. With the improvement of living standard and the development of health consciousness, people pay much more attention to it. Research situation about Acanthopanax fi＇uit on basis function factors and application prospect are reviewed.
