神经语言学研究面临的三大问题及其可能的解决方案 被引量:5

摘要 神经语言学研究大脑和语言之间的关系,是一个前沿交叉学科,目前该学科面临着研究问题复杂、语言学与神经科学的兼容性以及关于大脑功能基本观点的争论等三大问题。动态系统理论为解决神经语言学研究的复杂性提供了有益的启示,它可以使研究者从整体上、全面地考察不同要素之间的内在的互动关系。最简方案理论的应用则有助于解决语言学与神经科学的兼容性问题,因为该理论提供了直接的、可以采用神经语言学研究方法进行验证的动态模型。而面对大脑功能反射说与内在说的争论,神经语言学研究应充分考虑大脑功能内在说的指导意义,从而确保神经语言学研究的正确方向。 As a study area devoted to the relationship between language and brain, neurolinguistics is now facing three major problems, including the complexity of research questions, the compatibility between linguistics and neural science and the controversies on the functions of the brain. Relevant studies are reviewed and compared, arguing that the current issues should be reflected on critically. Then possible solutions are discussed. It is believed that the theory of complex dynamic system may shed some light on the complicated neurolinguistic studies and allow global investigation into the intrinsic and interactive relationship between different elements. The Minimalist Program is demonstrated to be compatible with neural science for its direct and dynamic models verifiable by neurolinguisitc methods. As to the controversies on reflexive and intrinsic views of brain functions, it is argued that the intrinsic view be a guideline of neurolinguistic studies. These suggestions open the door for the attempt to further explore language and brain in the future neurolinguistic studies.
