摘要 可视化是将对象内容转化为视觉表征符号的一种手段,有利于内容的被理解、传播和再创造。本文探讨顶级科技期刊封面在实践中对可视化方法和技术的应用及发展,以典型封面案例作为研究对象,分析多视角下科技期刊封面创作的内容建构要求、手段、思路与被选择的影响因素,以期提高我国科技期刊对封面设计的重视度和创造力,提升可视化在科学传播中的影响和效用。 Visualization is a method that transferring the object content into visual representations, which is beneficial for the understanding, dissemination and recreation of content. This paper discussed the application and development of method and technique of visualization in the practice of top scientific periodicals cover design. After that, it analyzed the requirements, means, ideas and influencing factors for being selected while constructing the visual content for the cover design of scientific journals, based on the typical cases study. By this way, we are expecting to arouse the concern and creativity for journals' cover, which may lead to the improvement of the impact and effectiveness of visualization method in science communication.
