Performance Analysis for Cognitive Radio Network Based on Cross-layer Modeling

摘要 依据在认知无线电网络中,既要保证主用户的服务质量不受影响,又要维持次用户的基本通信的要求,基于用户的呼叫层和分组层策略,以排队论为数学基础,提出认知无线电网络的跨层模型及性能分析方法,推导次用户呼叫阻塞概率和分组时延的表达式。对认知无线电网络进行系统级仿真,结果表明,分析模型能准确地评估认知无线电网络的呼叫层和分组层性能,次用户的呼叫阻塞概率和分组时延随着用户呼叫到达速率的增加而增加。 In Cognitive Radio Network(CRN),it must be ensured that the primary user’s Quality of Service(QoS)is not affected,in addition,the secondary user’s QoS of basic communication should be guaranteed.Based on the call level and packet level policies,this paper proposes the cross-layer model and performance analysis approach building on the queuing theory for cognitive radio networks.The formulas for call blocking probability and packet delay are derived for secondary users.Moreover,in order to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed analysis models,the paper performs simulations for the cognitive radio etworks.Simulation results show that the proposed analytical models can be used to accurately evaluate the performance of the cognitive radio networks,the call blocking probability and packet delay increase with the increase of the arrival rates for primary users and secondary users.
