With the representative free-market economic system, British gas industry has been experienced, step by step, the monopoly, diversity and regulated market. The third-party access of British gas industry on conditions that opening market threshold, providing pipelines transmission and regulating tariff mechanism, and that the regulatory authorities with independent executive force and the diversified suppliers are key steps for anti-monopoly. The procedure of Britain for completing the third-party access is of great significance for the market-oriented reform of China＇s gas industry, especially for establishing the market price.
