国家形象视阈下外宣翻译策略刍议 被引量:21

Reflections on Strategies for Publicity-Oriented C-E Translation from the Perspective of National Image

摘要 作为一个国家对自己的认知以及国际体系中其他行为体对它的认知的结合的国家形象,直接关系到我国改革开放的成本和在国际社会的声誉。翻译特别是外宣翻译在营造我国良好的舆论氛围,赢得良好的国际信誉,对于国家利益的实现,发挥着不可或缺纽带作用。外宣翻译策略在中国重塑、构建和平崛起的大国形象中承担重要使命。有鉴于此,本文拟围绕外宣翻译策略与国家形象的关联,援引典型例证,着重探析国家形象视阈下若干外宣翻译策略。 National image,considered as a combination of a country's own awareness its reputation and its recognition by other behavior bodies,is directly related to the cost of our reform and opening-up and to the reputation of our country worldwide.Translation,especially publicity-oriented C / E translation,is playing an indispensably bridging role in creating a good international public opinion for China,in winning a good international prestige and in actualizing our national interests. Publicity-Oriented C / E translation strategies play a key role in the remodeling and constructing of China's image as a peacefully rising power. In view of this,focusing on the relevance of strategies of publicity-oriented C / E translation to national image and quoting typical examples,the paper emphasizes the analysis of several translation strategies from the perspective of the country's image.
