摘要
全基因组测序技术的问世,为基因组研究带来了极大便利,目前已应用于解决许多微生物方面的问题。本文对微生物全基因组测序技术进行了简要概述,主要从病原微生物的发现和培养诊断、病原体特性的快速鉴定、疫情暴发监测及流行病学溯源、疫苗开发及变异监测、宏基因组学以及单细胞测序6个方面,总结归纳了新一代全基因组测序技术在病原学检测中的作用,并对该研究目前存在的问题进行了回顾总结。全基因组测序具有快速、准确及相对便宜的特点,但是就目前来说,将其应用到临床实验室进行常规病原学检测仍存在一些困难。
