A Novel Power Flow Controller for Application in Micro-grids

摘要 电力弹簧在接有新能源的微电网中能够有效稳定母线电压,为关键负荷提供稳定的供能,根据这个特性,为了降低新能源的波动性对电网造成的冲击,提出一种新型的潮流控制器,由电力弹簧和基于电力电子器件的可调节变压器组成,可调节变压器嵌入在在电网的降压变压器中,使非关键负荷由新能源供能,关键负荷由电网供能,当新能源供能充足时,新型潮流控制器调节潮流,使非关键负荷和关键负荷均由新能源供能,因此降低负荷对电网的需求。介绍潮流控制器的原理和实现方法,实验结果证明了方案的正确性。 Electric springs in micro-grids using new energy sources can effectively stabilize bus voltage and provide steady energy for key loads. In view of this character, to reduce the impact of volatility of new energy sources upon power grids, this paper presents a novel power flow controller composed of electric springs and a power electronics-based adjustable transformer, which, embedded in the grid step- down transformer, makes it possible that non-critical loads get energy supply from new energy sources, while critical loads get energy from the grid. When new energy sources can supply sufficient energy, the novel power flow controller will regulate the flow so that both non-critical load and critical load get energy from new energy sources, thus reducing power grid demand from the loads. Principles and realization methods for the power flow controller are introduced. Experimental results verify the correctness of the scheme.
