摘要
为研究低气压下长间隙放电等离子体通道外部特征,利用试验平台对100 Pa下800 mm棒-板间隙交、直流放电进行观测,并对放电通道发展过程及其外部特征进行研究。研究结果表明:50 Hz交流和正极性直流电压下等离子体通道发展过程及通道外形差异显著,交流电压下等离子体通道自棒、板电极双向发展并双向消散,击穿后通道呈纺锤形且存在明暗条纹;正极性直流电压下等离子体通道自棒电极向板电极单向发展并向棒电极单向消散,击穿后通道呈亮度均匀的圆柱形。研究结果为低气压下长间隙放电特性研究提供参考。
Here,we experimentally addressedthe AC/DC discharge plasmachannelat 100 Pa in the 800 mm gap,between a disk with smooth sidewalls and a conical rod. The impact of the AC/DC voltages on the real-time shapes and growth of the discharge plasma channels was investigated with the lab-built test platform,mainly consisting of polypropylene vacuum chamber and charge-coupled-device( CCD) video camera. The results show that the AC/DC discharge modes significantly affected the shapes and development of the plasma channel. To be specific,in 50 Hz AC mode after breakdown,the discharge plasma channels,simultaneously showing up at the tip and the disk,grew into a spindleshape consisting of bright-dark striations,and finally faded on both sides; whereas in DC mode,the discharge plasma channel,initiated from the tip,changed into a continuous,uniform bright column after breakdown and finally vanished on one side.
