Objective To explore the results of calcium, iron and zinc in 3 - 6 years old children with growth retardation. Methods In our hospital from April 2014 to April 2016 were 50 cases of 3 -6 years old growth retardation children as the observation group, select the same period 50 cases of 3 - 6 years old normal children as the control group, the test results of trace elements between the two groups of children. Results The observation group of children calcium, iron and zinc deficiency rate, significantly higher than control group, there was significant difference in comparison between groups (P 〈 0. 05) ; the observation group of children in different gender children calcium, iron and zinc deficiency rate, there is no significant difference between two groups, and P 〉 0. 05 ; at the same time the children in the observation group, iron and zinc levels, increases with increasing age, but the level of calcium, decreased with the increase of age, there was significant difference between group comparison (P 〈 0. 05). Conclusion Trace elements play an important role in the development of children. It can lay a good foundation for the development of children's physical and mental development.
