摘要
时政新语的英译在外宣翻译中占有重要的一席之地。基于目的论视角,以《习近平2017年新年贺词》两个英译本为比较对象,解读了时政新语的英译策略和效果。
English translation of new political words occupies an important position in foreign publicity translation. Based on the skopos theory, this paper compares the two versions of Xi Jinping＇s 2017 New Year greetings and evaluates the translation strategy and effects.
