Formation condition of Σ3 grain boundaries in a Pb-Ca-Sn-Al alloy

摘要 采用电子背散射衍射(EBSD)技术研究了经室温多向锻造(真应变ε=4)和310℃再结晶退火1 h的Pb-0.07Ca-1.8Sn-0.026Al(质量分数,%)合金在轧制及退火过程中形成Σ3晶界的条件。结果表明:经厚度减缩量为90%室温大变形轧制并经270℃中间退火的试样,能够在后续轧制和退火过程中形成占总晶界比例超过47%的Σ3晶界;相反,未经室温大变形轧制和中间退火,而直接进行30%冷轧变形轧制和退火的试样,其Σ3晶界的比例不超过18%。分析认为:样品经大变形轧制和中间退火所形成的{011}<100>(Goss)、{110}<112>(B或Brass)、{001}<100>(Cube)和{112}<111>(Copper)等织构组合是Pb-0.07Ca-1.8Sn-0.026Al合金在后续轧制和退火过程中形成大量Σ3晶界的重要条件。 Pb-0. 07 Ca-1. 8 Sn-0. 026 Al( mass fraction,%) alloy samples,which subjected to a multi-directional forging with true strain ε =4 and annealing at 310 ℃,were swage rolled at room temperature followed by annealing at 270 ℃. Electron backscatter diffraction( EBSD)was used to study the grain boundary character distribution as well as the conditions for the development of Σ3 boundaries in the alloy. The results indicate that the pre-treatment which involves a large strain rolling and an intermediate annealing at 270 ℃ had a very positive effect on the development of Σ3 boundaries. Further analysis points out the texture combination of { 011} 〈100〉 ( Goss),{ 110} 〈112〉 ( B or Brass),{ 001} 100 ( Cube) and{ 112} 〈111 〉( Copper),which were introduced by the pre-treatment,is the crucial requirement for the development of Σ3 boundaries in Pb-0. 07 Ca-1. 8 Sn-0. 026 Al alloy during the subsequent processing of rolling plus annealing.
