Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era focuses on the theme of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics,and proposes the fundamental questions of what kind of socialism with Chinese characteristics to uphold and develop and how to do that.These two questions are answered by 8 make-clear statements and 14-point fundamental principles of the thought.The thought is an embodiment of the organic unity of communist party character and mass character,of world outlook and methodology,of inheritance and innovation,of China's position and mind of the world,and of top level planning and major initiatives.The thought enriches and opens up a new realm for the development of Marxism,socialism with Chinese characteristics and party building in the new era.
