Objective To explore the effect of collaboration care model on family function and pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods Totally 128 GDM patients were randomized into a control group and an observation group using random number table, with 64 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received collaboration care model. The family function measured using family assessment device(FAD)before and after the intervention and pregnancy outcomes of the two groups were compared. Results After the intervention, each dimension score of FAD family function of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P〈0.05,P〈0.01).The incidence of caesarean section, premature, premature rupture of membranes, polyhydramnios, postpartum hemorrhage, infection and acute complication of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P〈0.05,P〈0.01).The incidence of fetal macrosomia, hypoglycemia and perinatal asphyxia of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P〈0.05,P〈0.01).Conclusion Application of collaboration care model can improve patients’ family function, reduce adverse perinatal complications, enhance the rate of natural childbirth and improve maternal and infant prognosis.
