摘要
专业认证是围绕特定社会活动目的来组建认证组织、开展认证工作的过程,多样化的认证目的、多层次的认证机构、"三步走"的认证阶段勾画出了美国师范专业认证活动的当代轮廓。美国师范专业认证工作的4个显著特点是:纯洁性与民间性、持续性与发展性、开放性与科学性、机构权威性与内在有序性。展望未来,美国师范专业认证工作的走向是:提高专业认证标准,走向基于表现的认证,更加关注实践导向的认证,建立各州与认证组织间的合作伙伴关系。
Professional Accreditation means the process ofestablishingaccreditation bodies and imple menting accreditation centering onspecific social aims. American NPA'sprofile is made up of diversi fled accreditation aims,multilevel accreditation bodies anda “three step” accrediting circle. There are four couples of characteristics of American NPA, that is, pure and civil, sustaining and developing, open and scientific, and authoritative and internally orderly. In the future, American NPA is trending towards improving NPA standards, focusing on performance oriented accreditation, paying more con cerns on practice accreditation, and building the partnership between states and accreditation bodies.
