As an example, the design and implementation of the ethernet controller drivers, which is running on vxWorks, in which we give the design approach of the driver on embedded systems. In this paper, we give the interface of the operating system and the driver, logon and the initiation of the device and the transmitting and incepting of data. In all of that, we set forth briefly algorithm on PCI interface initiation, interrupting and the management of memory.
