This paper introduced a new phosphate. By experiment, it analysed the fire retardant mechanism and the fire retardant effect of the new phosphate as expansion fire retardant for polyolefin and thermoset plastic. Red phosphorus/phenol system had a better effect on fire retardant in high-temperature polymer.
