摘要
明清之际的方以智,在对待中、西异质文化的关系问题上,立足于"会通"的价值视域,力主"择善而从"的基本原则,并提出了"借泰西为问郯"的主张。"借远西为郯子,申禹周之矩积"则可以看作方以智"中西会通"理论的"方法论纲领"。以"中西会通"价值观为指导,他以西方"地圆说"为基础并结合中国本有的"脬豆之喻",提出了自己关于宇宙结构的独特论断。在现时代,方以智力主中西文化"会通"的"集大成"理念以及民族文化本位的价值立场仍然具有极其重要的时代意义。
Fang Yizhi,who lived in the period between Ming and Qing Dynasties,stood on the axiological horizon of 'communication',adhered to the principle of'choosing the goodness and following the goodness' and made the point of 'drawing on the western culture',by which he wanted to solve the problem of the relationship between the eastern and western cultures.'Drawing on the western culture and serving Chinese culture'was the methodological outline of Fang Yizhi’s theory of the communication between the Orient and the Occident.Using that value as a guide,Fang Yizhi came up with his unique assertion about the cosmic structure,which was based on the western'spherical earth theory'and the Chinese metaphor of bladder and bean.In the modern society,Fang Yizhi’s value standpoint of national culture and epitomizing idea,which was based on the theory of the communication between the Orient and the Occident,still has an extremely important meaning of the times.
