摘要
变译理论认为译者对于原作可以采用部分否定的做法,以满足特定读者的阅读需求,进而强化原文的使用价值,这为外宣材料的翻译实践开辟了崭新视角。变译方法包括摘、编、改、阐等十余种翻译方法。旅游文本作为一种典型的外宣材料,为了突出原文的预设信息,译者往往要在原作的基础上采用各种变译手段,进而实现译文预期目标。为此,从实例出发,探讨变译理论下对晋商大院旅游文本翻译教学的启示。
For the purpose of meeting readers’need and conveying the information of the original text,Translation Variation Theory advocates to negate part of the original text,which has formed new views on the translation of publicity materials.Translators always applied typical variation methods like excerpt,compilation,adaptation and so on to the translation of tourist texts,a kind of publicity material,and this text explores the practical use of this theory in translation teaching with Shanxi Merchants’Courtyards Tourist Text as a case example.
