摘要
新的历史时期,大学的社会角色应该有新定位。历史的实践、国家创新竞争的要求、冲破干预桎梏下的选择及国际交流的需要等都促使现代大学成为引领时代发展的先锋,不再是社会的边缘组织和封闭堡垒。现代大学的先锋作用主要体现在引领国家前进方向、引领社会进步方向、引领组织发展方向、引领个人成长方向等方面。
This essay tries to explore the position of universities as a pioneer to meet the demand of modern society in the new historical period.Historical legacy,educational intrinsic attribute,knowledge-based economic development and internationalization of universities all call for modern universities to become the vanguards of the times,instead of marginal organization or closed fortress.The pioneering role of modern universities is mainly embodied in the direction of a nation's development,its social progress,organizational establishment and personal growth,etc.
