摘要
近年来,林文勋提出"富民"阶层的学术概念和"富民社会"的学术体系,这是针对"唐宋社会变革"这一重大学术议题探究而提出的学术理论。该理论在汲取20世纪以来史学界关于乡村富户、庶族地主、地方精英等研究成果的基础上,提出了唐宋以来兴起的"富民"阶层是中国传统社会的中间层、稳定层、动力层,唐宋以后的中国传统社会属于"富民社会"的学术论断,并以此为基石,建构了中国古代社会新体系。这一理论在提出者的深耕和团队拓展研究中不断推进,在学界的响应、质疑以及相互对话中不断发展,目前已经形成了若干学术论断,标志着"富民社会"理论的建构已基本成型。但也要看到,理论的建构和完善是一个长期的工程,需要该理论提出者继续探究与之相关的深层制度问题和社会关系问题。
In recent years,Lin Wenxun has formulated the concept of“Fumin”or the wealthy class,developed the related academic system of“Fumin Society”.His theory has been based on explo?ration into the important topic of“social revolutions in Tang and Song dynasties”.Drawing on research findings made since the 20th century about rural wealthy families,common landlords and local elite,the theory holds that the“Fumin”class rising since Tang and Song dynasties had been a stable and dy?namic middle group of traditional Chinese society and that the traditional Chinese society since the Tang and Song dynasties had been the“Fumin Society”with the wealthy class as its core.A new sys?tem of ancient Chinese society has been constructed on the basis of the assertion.Amid the responses and questions from the academic community and in dialogues with the community,Lin and his team have been working hard to extend and expand the theory and has advanced a number of theses,signif?ying that the theoretical construction of“Fumin Society” has been by and large completed.Of course,it takes a long time to construct and improve a theory.The initiator of the“Fumin Society”theory still needs to keep studying deeper related institutional and social relation issues.
