摘要
学界对威廉·华兹华斯的《孤独的割麦女》的研究多集中在对其美学、风格等纯艺术角度的分析上,这虽维持了其自律性审美的前提,却排斥了它与同时代话语复杂交织的可能。本文结合旅游凝视、后殖民主义等研究方法,试图分析诗人的凝视行为与割麦女吟唱行为的交锋以及歌声中的战争与文化冲突,在揭示殖民话语与抗争性指涉的张力基础上,亦可展现浪漫主义诗人同帝国政治的矛盾纠葛。
The academic circle mostly evaluates in“The Solitary Reaper”from the aesthetic,stylistic and other artistic perspectives.Though it keeps the content of the aesthetic self-discipline,there is a lack of the complex relation between the poem and the discourse of the era.Based on the theories such as“the tourist gaze”and post-colonialism,the present essay tries to analyze the clash between the poet’s gaze and the reaper’s singing,and the conflict of the war and the culture between Scotland and England,which can reveal the tension between the colonial discourse and anti-colonial discourse,and then shows the contradictory relationship between the romantic poet and the politics of the Empire.
