“句式模型” (syntagmaticmodels)是批评语言学家郝治和克来斯 (Hodge&Kress)提出的重要理论模式。运用该模式对《纽约时报》和《中国日报》关于中美撞机事件的新闻报道进行对比分析 ,可以看出这两篇新闻无论是对事件的描述 ,还是对中美双方形象的塑造 ,都存在明显的倾向性。因此 。
Syntagmatic models', put forward by Hodge & Kress, is an important analytical framework of critical linguistics. Based on this framework, a comparative study of news discourse concerning the'Sino-US plane collision'event from China Daily and The New York Times reveals that both reports are biased, either in event description or in image construction of the two nations.
