摘要
增强现实抬头显示系统(AR-HUD)在传统抬头显示系统(HUD)上结合了增强现实(AR)技术,可更为直观有效地展示与驾驶有关的车速、导航等信息,保证驾驶员的视线不离开路面,从而提升驾驶安全性。文章首先介绍了AR-HUD系统的原理及结构组成,并基于双自由曲面反射的成像光路结构,给出了AR-HUD的光学设计优化及评价方法,完成了投影距离7.5m、视场角为10°×3°的AR-HUD光学系统整体设计。每个视场的光斑均落在艾里斑之内,图像的调制传递函数均接近衍射极限,成像效果满足要求。最后,我们开展了样机的制作,并对实际的显示效果进行了测量展示,验证了设计的正确性和可行性。
Augmented Reality Head-Up Display is the combination of AR technology and HUD system,which provides necessary information to drivers more directly and effectively.It prevents drivers from lowering their heads to obtain information from the dashboard and keeps their eyes on the road.In this paper,we analyzed the components of the AR-HUD system first,then presented the optical path design of the system based on double freeform reflectors.The design and evaluation methods were provided in this paper.We achieved the design of an AR-HUD system with the Virtual Image Distance of 7.5m and the Field of View of 10°×3°.The design simulation results met the requirement of the AR-HUD system.At the end of the paper,we presented the prototype of our AR-HUD system and inspected the actual display result,which validated that our design is correct and feasible.
