摘要
侗族是中华民族大家庭中历史悠久、文化多姿多彩的民族之一。侗族是一个善于歌唱的民族,侗乡被誉为“诗的家乡,歌的海洋”,自古以来流传着“饭养身,歌养心”。在众多的侗族民歌中,要数世世代代以口传心授为传承方式的无指挥、无伴奏、多声部、一人领唱众人和声的民间合唱音乐——嘎老,即侗族大歌最具特色。20世纪50年代,侗族大歌是在中国境内被发现的第一个多声部民歌品种。彻底否定了西方音乐界长期以来认为中国民间没有多声部合唱歌曲的偏见。1986年侗族大歌唱响法国巴黎著名的国立夏乐宫剧院。1994年侗族大歌荣登中央电视台春节文艺晚会。2009年9月30日,联合国教科文组织将中国申报的贵州省黔东南苗族侗族自治州《侗族大歌》列入人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录。由此可见,侗族大歌不仅仅在中华民族音乐文化史上占有重要的一席之地,就是在世界音乐史中也有其应有的位置。多少年来,众多专家学者致力于侗族大歌研究。从宋代诗人陆游《老学庵笔记》卷四中对侗族民间音乐活动的描述算起,至今已有800余年的研究历史。在中国知网篇名为“侗族大歌”“嘎老”“侗族民间合唱”数百篇文章和已公开出版的10余部侗族大歌著作则为素材,分别从侗族大歌研究的开创期、形成期、恢复期、发展期和繁荣期等五个阶段的研究进行概述。这些研究分别从民族传统文化、民族音乐学、历史学、音乐理论、民俗学、人类学、传播学、旅游开发等视角展开,推动了对侗族大歌研究的深入。这些研究提升了侗族大歌在国内外的影响,预示了侗族大歌研究的未来走向。
The Dong people,noted for their colorful profound culture,are an important component of the Chinese nation.Their Grand Song,without any conductor or accompaniment,is performed by a chorus,featured with polyphony,a lead singer and other following singers.It is an essence of Chinese Dong people’s culture,drawing attention from at home and abroad.In the 1950s the Dong’s Grand Song was discovered to be the first folk song with polyphony,thus a forceful defense against the foreign scholars’claim that there was no polyphony in Chinese folk songs.In 2009 it was listed by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage.This paper divides the research on the Dong’s Grand Song into five periods over the past 800 years,namely,the Inception Period(from Mr.Lu You’s time in the Song Dynasty to 1949 when the People’s Republic of China was founded),the Formation Period(from 1950 to 1977),the Resuming Period(from 1978 to 1993),the Development Period(from 1994 to 2008),and the Prosperity Period(from 2009 on).It reviews the relevant famous scholars’studies,sorts out the relationship between the Dong’s Grand Song and other Chinese music genres and hence argues for a musical community of the Chinese nation.
