留学生与近代中国教育经济学的萌生

Overseas Students and the Birth of Educational Economics in Modern China

摘要 留学生是近代中国教育经济学萌生的奠基者和开拓者。他们对教育经济问题的研究,既适应了近代教育事业发展的需要,也符合教育学科发展的趋势。留学生以教育与经济的相互关系、作用及规律为研究对象;研究内容涉及教育经费的筹集分配与使用、教育财政、教育投入与产出等方面;研究方法以实证方法为主。在留学生群体的努力下,近代中国教育经济学的萌生呈现出主体化、科学化、本土化的特点。留学生对教育经济问题的探讨,促进了近代教育事业的发展,推动了中国教育经济学的产生,也为当前构建中国特色教育经济学提供了可资借鉴的历史经验及有益启示。 Overseas students were the founders and pioneers of the emergence of modern Chinese educational economics.Their research on educational economy could meet the needs of the development of modern education,and it also conformed to the inherent trend of the development of educational disciplines.International students took the relationship,function and law of education and economy as the research objects.The research content involved the specific relationship between education and economy,the raising,distribution and use of educational funds,educational finance,educational input and output,etc.The research methods were mainly empirical.With the efforts of overseas students,the emergence of educational economics in modern China showed the characteristics of subjectivity,scientization and localization.The discussion of education economic issues by foreign students not only promoted the development of modern education,but also promoted the emergence and localization of Chinese educational economics.It also provided enlightenment for the construction of educational economics with Chinese characteristics.
