摘要
促进民族团结进步的"中国精神",是指新中国在推进民族团结进步事业发展进程中体现在精神层面的一种持久性的状态和特征。如果把新中国民族工作的伟大成就集中到一个点上,那就是铸就了以追求真正的民族平等、精心维护各民族大团结和对各民族共同繁荣发展的不懈奋斗为核心的促进民族团结进步的"中国精神"。促进民族团结进步的"中国精神",是中国共产党领导各族人民坚定不移地走中国特色解决民族问题正确道路的结果,是中国共产党在民族工作中践行初心使命的重要体现。促进民族团结进步的"中国精神",既是观察和评价新中国民族工作理念和民族政策实践成效的一个重要窗口,也是进一步坚定中国特色民族工作的道路自信、理论自信、制度自信和文化自信的重要依据所在。促进民族团结进步的"中国精神",是新中国的伟大创造,是中华民族对人类文明作出的重大贡献,是实现中华民族伟大复兴的力量所在和希望所在。深刻认识促进民族团结进步"中国精神"的丰富内涵、形成原因和重大意义,有利于正确认识新中国民族工作光辉历程、伟大成就、重大意义、基本规律和基本经验,有利于我们深刻认识做好新时代民族工作需要牢牢把握的重大原则、目标任务和科学方法,增强做好新时代民族工作的信心和决心。
The"Chinese Spirit"of promoting national unity and progress refers to a persistent spiritual state and characteristics embodied in the process of promoting the development of national unity and progress since the setting up of People’s Republic of China. The outstanding achievements in the work of PRC could be summarized as the "Chinese Spirit"that promotes national unity and progress with the focus in pursuing true national equality,carefully safeguarding the great unity of all ethnic groups and unremitting struggle for the common prosperity and development of all ethnic groups.The "Chinese Spirit"of promoting national unity and progress is the result of all ethnic people’s dedication in following the correct path of solving ethnic problems with Chinese characteristics under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,and is an important embodiment of the CPC’s initial mission in conducting ethnic work. The "Chinese Spirit ",which promotes national unity and progress,is not only an important entry point for observing and evaluating the practical effects of the new concept for ethnic work and national policies,but also an important basis for further strengthening confidences in path adoption,theory,system and culture in the work of ethnic groups with Chinese characteristics.The "Chinese Spirit"to promote national unity and progress is a great initiative of PRC,a great contribution of the Chinese nation to human civilization,and the strength and hope for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.A profound understanding of the rich connotation,causes and significance of the "Chinese Spirit"in promoting national unity and progress is not only conducive to a correct understanding of the process,achievements,basic laws and experience of the work of ethnic works in PRC,but also conducive the profound understanding of the major principles,objectives,and scientific methods that can enhance confidence and motivation for promoting excellence in ethnic work in the new era.
