摘要
抗菌肽是一类广泛存在于自然界多种生物体中的小分子多肽,是生物固有免疫系统的重要组成部分。人源阳离子抗菌肽-18是迄今发现唯一来源于人的组织蛋白酶抑制素Cathelicidin家族成员,其可由人粒细胞、上皮细胞、单核细胞等多种细胞分泌,在释放过程中经丝氨酸蛋白酶3切割后产生具有活性的LL-37。LL-37具有抗感染、抗肿瘤、中和内毒素、免疫调节等多种作用,在口腔健康的维系中扮演重要角色。其在龋齿、牙周病及口腔扁平苔藓患者口腔中的水平显著高于健康者,而在口腔鳞状细胞癌患者中显著降低,与这些口腔疾病的发生发展关系密切。未来,应深入研究LL-37在这些口腔疾病中所起的作用,以期为其治疗提供新的理论依据和思路。
Antibacterial peptides are a class of small-molecule polypeptides that are widely found in many organisms in nature,and are an important part of the innate immune system.Human-derived cationic antibacterial peptide is the only human sourced member of cathepsin inhibitor Cathelicidin family discovered so far,which can be secreted by a variety of cells such as human granulocytes,monocytes,and epithelial cells etc.,and produces active LL-37 through the cleavage with serine protease 3.LL-37 has many functions such as anti-infection,anti-tumor,neutralization of endotoxin and immune regulation,and plays an important role in maintaining oral health.The expression of LL-37 is significantly up-regulated in the oral cavity of patients with dental caries,periodontal disease and oral lichen planus,and significantly down-regulated in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma,which is closely related to the occurrence and development of these oral diseases.In the future,the role of LL-37 in these oral diseases should be further studied,in order to provide new theoretical basis and ideas for the treatment.
