密炼机内颗粒的运动和混合性能分析 被引量:2

Analysis of Motions and Mixing Performance of Particles in Internal Mixers Based on Discrete Element Method

摘要 采用离散元法,利用离散元分析软件EDEM,建立了密炼机内橡胶与炭黑的颗粒-颗粒和颗粒-壁面之间接触的力学模型,实现了4WH型和4WS型2种密炼机内炭黑颗粒在橡胶中扩散的可视化模拟,展现了橡胶和炭黑在混合过程中,炭黑颗粒的运动规律、分散度分布特征和受力特性。研究结果表明,在10~60 s稳定混合时间段内,4WH型密炼机中颗粒的最大切向力均值为0.00857 N,而4WS型密炼机中颗粒的最大切向力均值为0.00688 N。4WH型密炼机的标准偏离差由15 s时的0.169降低至60 s时的0.158;4WS型密炼机的标准偏离差由15 s时的0.190降低至60 s时的0.185。因此,与4WS型密炼机相比,4WH型密炼机具有相对较小的偏离标准差、较大的最大切向力和更好的混合性能。另外,从计算流体力学角度,验证了密炼机的混合性能规律不随物料状态的改变而改变。文章研究结果为密炼机的转子设计和性能要求提供了理论依据。 Based on the discrete element method,using the discrete element analysis software EDEM,the mechanical model of the contact was established,which was described as particles-particles between rubber and carbon black and particlewalls in the internal mixer.It realized visual simulations of the carbon black particles diffusion in rubber between 4 WH and4 WS two kind of internal mixers.Motion law,dispersion characteristics and stress characteristics of carbon black particles in the process of mixing between rubber and carbon black were researched.In the 10~60 s stable mixing period,the mean value of the maximum tangential force of particles in 4 WH internal mixer was 0.00857 N,while that in 4 WS internal mixer was0.00688 N.The standard deviation of carbon black particles in 4 WH internal mixer decreased from 0.169 at 15 s to 0.158 at60 s,while that in 4 WS internal mixer decreased from 0.190 at 15 s to 0.185 at 60 s.The results showed that there was a relatively smaller standard deviation and a larger maximum tangential force in the 4 WH internal mixer than that in the 4 WS internal mixer.And the 4 WH internal mixer had better mixing performance.In addition,it was verified that the mixing performance of internal mixer did not change with the change of material state,in terms of computational fluid dynamics.The results provided a theoretical basis for the rotor design and performance requirements of internal mixer.
