摘要
激发突破性技术创新行为对企业获取国际竞争力具有重要意义。已有研究较少关注突破性技术创新行为及其影响因素,尤其缺少技术知识基础多元度对突破性技术创新行为的影响机制的探索。基于知识基础观,探讨技术知识基础多元度对突破性技术创新行为的直接影响,分析在不同高管社会资本情景下,技术管理能力对技术知识基础多元度与突破性技术创新行为关系的调节作用,构建技术知识基础多元度影响突破性技术创新行为的理论模型。选取2013年至2017年中国制造业上市企业为研究样本,运用层次回归分析方法对研究假设进行实证检验。研究结果表明,技术知识基础多元度对突破性技术创新行为具有显著正向影响;技术管理能力在技术知识基础多元度影响突破性技术创新行为的过程中起正向调节作用;高管横向社会资本和纵向社会资本越丰富,越能够强化技术管理能力的正向调节作用,高管横向社会资本对技术管理能力调节作用的影响更大。研究结论从行为视角拓宽了突破性技术创新研究,为技术创新理论研究提供新思路,扩展了技术知识基础的解释范畴,揭示出技术管理能力对技术知识基础与突破性技术创新行为关系的权变效应,深化了对技术管理能力作用发挥机制的认识,拓展了高管社会资本在技术管理领域中的应用。
Stimulating radical technological innovation behavior is of great significance for firms to acquire international competitiveness.Prior studies paid less attention on radical technological innovation behavior and its influencing factors,and especially lacked the investigation of the influencing mechanism of technological variety of knowledge base on radical technological innovation behavior.Based on the knowledge-based view,this paper explored the effect of technological variety of knowledge base on radical technological innovation behavior,analyzed the moderating effect of technology management capability on the relationship between technological variety of knowledge base on radical technological innovation behavior under different situations of top management team(TMT)social capital.We constructed a theoretical model of the relationship between technological variety of knowledge base and radical technological innovation behavior.Data were collected based on listed firms in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchange from 2013 to 2017 and were empirical tested by using multiple regression analysis.The results show that technological variety of knowledge base has a significantly positive impact on radical technological innovation behavior,technology management capability plays a positive moderating role in the relationship between technological variety of knowledge base and radical technological innovation behavior,and TMT social capital increases the positive moderating effect of technology management capability.The impact of horizontal social capital of TMT on the moderating effect of technological management capabilities is greater than that of vertical social capital of TMT.This study enrich the radical technological innovation research from the perspective of behavior and provided a fresh insight for research on technological innovation theory.It also expanded the application field of technological knowledge base by finding out the positive impact of technological variety of knowledge base on radical technological innovation behavior.It revealed the moderating effect of technology management capability,which deepened the understanding of the role of technology management capability.It explicated context-dependent conditions for the effectiveness of technology management capability and thus extended the application of TMT social capital in the area of technology management.
