摘要
我国已经成为世界上高等教育规模最大的国家,并迅速进入了高等教育普及化时代。在历史的"拐点"上,重新认识西方高等教育大众化理论的内涵和本质,探索一个高等教育大国迈向高等教育强国的发展路径,既是高等教育大国应有的理论自省,也是实现高等教育强国的客观要求。从理论和实践的视角,详细分析高等教育大众化理论在西方产生的背景,揭示西方高等教育大众化理论的内涵和本质,指出我国高等教育在大众化阶段的特殊性。在此基础上,明确提出高等教育体系和结构优化是实现高等教育大众化和普及化的制度保障,高质量人才培养是普及化阶段的重要任务。
China has become the largest country of higher education in the world,and has rapidly entered the era of popularization of higher education.At the turning point of history,to re-understand the connotation and essence of western higher education massification theory and to explore the development path of a big higher education country towards a powerful higher education country is not only the theoretical self-examination that a big higher education country should have,but also the requirement of realizing a powerful higher education country.From the perspective of theory and practice,this article points out the background of massification of higher education in the west,and analyzes the essence of massification of higher education in China.Based on this,it clearly points out that optimizing the system and structure of higher education is the institutional guarantee to realize massification and popularization of higher education,and the cultivation of high-quality talents is an important task in the popularization stage.
