Objective:To compare the effect of traditional drilling and drainage and new minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of chronic subdural hematoma. Methods:From January 2018 to December 2019,80 patients with chronic subdural hematoma were selected and divided into two groups according to different surgical methods.Observation group was treated with new microtrauma. The control group received traditional drilling. The therapeutic effects between the two groups was compared. Results:The incision length, operation time, intraoperative blood loss volume and hospital stay in the observation group were all lower than the control group, with the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was also lower than the control group, with the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Micro-invasive treatment of chronic subdural hematoma has better effect, can reduce the amount of trauma and bleeding volume, shorten the length of hospital stay, safe and reliable.
