The rapid development and large-scale application of EVs(Electric Vehicles)in China has provided a foundation for the implementation of V2G(Vehicle to Grid)technology to regulate cluster EVs to participate in the auxiliary service.Based on the economic regulation model of EV charging and discharging with V2G technology participating in auxiliary services, the regulation ability and potential economic value of clus⁃ter EVs participating in auxiliary service and the environmental benefits brought by large-scale development of EVs are analyzed by using relevant statistical data of Shanghai area.Simulative results show that cluster EVs’participation in auxiliary service can not only reduce user cost, but also provide peak load shifting service for the local power grid, and the large-scale development of EVs can effectively reduce local CO2 emissions.Further analysis shows that, with the increase of EV charging and discharging power and peak-valley electricity price ratio and the decrease of battery cost, the economic benefits of V2G application will increase.
