碳化配碳量对粗颗粒WC粉末形貌及WC-8%Co合金性能的影响 被引量:1

Effect of Carbon Content during Carbonization on Morphology of Coarse-grained WC Powder and Properties of WC-8%Co Alloys

摘要 粗颗粒WC在球齿、冲压模具材料等抗冲击性能要求高的行业应用广泛,其形貌、微观结构对制备的合金性能具有举足轻重的作用,而这些又与碳化时的配碳量、温度息息相关。本文探索了碳化配碳量对WC粉末形貌的影响,同时对比了由这些WC粉末制备的WC-8%Co(质量分数)硬质合金性能。结果表明:碳的质量分数为6.04%时,碳质舟皿会向粉体中补碳,使得WC总碳质量分数仍可达到6.12%,相比舟皿表面的WC,舟皿芯部的WC的结晶不完整且含有更多的W2C相;碳的质量分数为6.13%时,WC结晶完整且不受舟皿位置的影响。碳化配碳量6.04%的WC所制备的合金,其金相组织中细小WC晶粒多、硬度和抗弯强度高但断裂韧性较低。 Coarse particle WC is widely used in the industries with high impact resistance requirements such as ball teeth and stamping die materials.Its morphology and microstructure play a decisive role in the performance of the prepared alloy,and these are closely related to the carbon content and temperature during carbonization.The effect of carbon content on the morphology of WC powders was investigated,and the properties of WC-8%Co cemented carbides prepared by these WC powders were compared.The results show that when the carbon content is 6.04%(mass fraction,the same below),carbon will be added to the powder from carbon boat,so that the total carbon of WC can still reach 6.12%,but the crystallization of WC in the core of the boat is incomplete and contains more W2C phase than the WC on the surface of the boat.When the carbon content is 6.13%,WC crystal is complete and not affected by the position of the boat.The alloy prepared by WC carbonizing with a carbon content of 6.04% has more fine WC grains,higher hardness and bending strength,but lower fracture toughness.
