摘要
绿色技术创新是经济社会高质量发展的内在驱动力,准确识别绿色技术创新绩效传导路径是促进创新的重要前提。为此,需要理清企业绿色技术创新向经济绩效传导的路径及路径上的关键因素;在所有可能的传导路径中,路径的重要性是否存在差异;不同类型绿色技术创新向经济绩效传导是否具有同质性;不同特质企业在经济绩效传导的过程是否存在差异。在已有研究的基础上构建理论框架模型,并以实地问卷调查获得的642家工业企业信息为研究对象,实证检验企业绿色技术创新绩效的传导路径及企业自身特质和绿色技术创新类型对传导路径的影响。结果表明:(1)市场竞争力和环境绩效是企业绿色技术创新行为向经济绩效转化的重要中介变量;相对于后者而言,提升企业市场竞争力的作用更为显著。(2)企业末端治理技术创新和绿色产品创新不能直接产生经济绩效,仅能通过间接路径产生经济绩效;绿色工艺创新可以通过直接路径和间接路径向经济绩效进行传导,其中,直接路径的贡献比间接路径的贡献更大。(3)从绩效传导路径优化角度来看,改善末端治理技术创新的环境绩效、提升绿色工艺创新和绿色产品创新企业的市场竞争力是促进企业绿色技术创新重要的着力点。(4)从企业内在特质的影响来看,大规模企业、私营企业、技术密集型企业、东部省份企业和建立时间较长的企业开展绿色技术创新更容易产生经济绩效。
Green technology innovation is the internal driving force of high-quality economic and social development. It is an important premise to identify the performance transmission path of green technology innovation. Therefore,it is necessary to straighten out the path and key factors of the transmission of green technology innovation to economic performance. In all possible transmission paths, whether there is any difference in the importance of the paths? Whether the transmission paths of different types of green technology innovation to economic performance are homogeneous?Whether there are differences in the process of economic performance transmission between different characteristic enterprises? Based on the existing literature, this study constructs a theoretical framework model, and empirically tests the transmission path of green technological innovation performance of enterprises and the heterogeneity of the impact of enterprise characteristics and innovation types on the transmission path by taking 642 industrial enterprises’ information obtained from the questionnaire survey as the objects. We can draw the following conclusions:For the transmission paths from green technology innovation to economic performance, market competitiveness and environmental performance of enterprises are important mediators. The transmission paths from end-of-pipe technological innovation, green product innovation to economic performance are fully mediating relationship, and the direct effect is not significant. However, the transmission paths from green process innovation to economic performance is a partial mediating relationship, and the direct effect exists. Green product innovation and end-of-pipe technological innovation can’t produce economic performance directly, but can only produce economic performance through indirect paths, while green process innovation can improve its own economic performance through direct and indirect paths.For end-of-pipe technological innovation, from end-of-pipe technological innovation to environmental performance to economic performance is the most important intermediary path. For green product innovation, from green product innovation to market competitiveness to economic performance is the most important path. For green process innovation,among all the indirect paths, from green process innovation to market competitiveness to economic performance is the most important path. For green process innovation, the proportion of direct effect is 0.1/(0.1 + 0.344) =22.52%, and the proportion of indirect effect is 77.48%. Although the direct effect can quickly improve its economic performance, it is relatively small. Therefore, from the perspective of path optimization, it is an important way to improve the environmental performance of the end-of-pipe technological innovation;it is an important way to enhancing the market competitiveness of green process innovation and green product innovation enterprises.From the perspective of the internal characteristics of enterprises, large-scale enterprises, private enterprises, technology intensive enterprises, eastern provinces enterprises and enterprises with long establishment time are more likely to produce economic performance when carrying out green technology innovation. The above research is of great significance to deepen the understanding of green technology innovation and optimize the relevant policy design. Compared with largescale enterprises, the indirect paths "from green technology innovation to environmental performance(or market competitiveness) to economic performance" of small-scale enterprises are not significant. Except for green product innovation, the indirect effect transmission path "from green technology innovation to market competitiveness to economic performance" of state-owned and collective owned enterprises is not significant. Compared with technology intensive enterprises, the indirect effect transmission path "green technology innovation to environmental performance to economic performance" of non-technology-intensive enterprises is not significant. Compared with the enterprises in eastern and central provinces, the indirect effect transmission path "from green technology innovation to environmental performance to economic performance" of western enterprises is not significant. Compared with older enterprises, the transmission path of the indirect path "from green technology innovation to environmental performance to economic performance" of younger enterprises is not significant.For enterprises that carrying out end-of-pipe technological innovation, we should emphasize the efficiency of innovation investment. For enterprises that carry out green product innovation, we need to focus on improving their market competitiveness. For the central and local governments, they should strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights to protect the future competitiveness and development rights of green product and green process innovation enterprises. For the management of end-of-pipe technological innovation, more attention should be paid to the scientific verification of their emission reduction performance. In addition, more accurate intervention policies should be formulated for specific types of enterprises to promote sustainable green technology innovation investment.
