南海西沙和南沙捕获器浮游有孔虫通量季节变化与区域对比 被引量:1

SEASONAL VARIATION AND REGIONAL COMPARISON OF PLANKTONIC FORAMINIFERAL FLUX IN THE XISHA AND NANSHA REGIONS,SOUTH CHINA SEA

摘要 对2012—2013年南海西沙和南沙沉积物捕获器中浮游有孔虫进行了分析,共鉴定出13属20种,群落组合以热带亚热带暖水属种为主。上层捕获器中浮游有孔虫年通量在南沙海区(201480枚·m^(-2)·y^(-1))明显较高,是西沙海区(99676枚·m^(-2)·y^(-1))的两倍多。在西沙海区,下层捕获器浮游有孔虫年通量(207386枚·m^(-2)·y^(-1))是上层的两倍多,且小粒径(150~250μm)壳体主要集中在下层,推测是区域的深层水流侧向搬运所导致。浮游有孔虫总通量和主要属种Globigerinoides sacculifer,G.ruber,Neogloboquadrina dutertrei,Globigerinita glutinata,Globigerinella aequilateralis和Pulleniatina obliquiloculata的通量均呈现出明显的季节变化。西沙浮游有孔虫的通量主要出现在冬半年,有两个明显峰值,分别出现在季风间歇期和冬季风盛行期间;南沙浮游有孔虫通量则与季风变化密切相关,表现为冬夏“双峰型”,在冬季12月—3月和夏季5月—8月呈现较高通量。南沙夏季的通量峰值主要由Globigerinoides sacculifer贡献。Globigerina bulloides几乎只在冬季出现,而Globigerinoides conglobatus只出现在夏季,研究认为它们分别有作为南海冬季指示种和夏季指示种的潜力。 The planktonic foraminifers in the sediment traps deployed in Xisha and Nansha regions,South China Sea from 2012to 2013were analyzed.A total of 13genera and 20species have been identified,most of which are tropical and subtropical warm water species.The annual flux of planktonic foraminifers in the upper trap is significantly higher(twice)in the Nansha region(201480tests·m^(-2)·y^(-1))than that of the Xisha region(99676tests·m^(-2)·y^(-1)).The annual flux of planktonic foraminifers in the lower layer(207386tests·m^(-2)·y^(-1))of the Xisha trap is more than twice as high as that of the upper layer,due to the high percentage of small-diameter(150~250μm)shells in the lower layer,possibly caused by lateral transport of deep water currents.The total flux and the fluxes of the major species,such as Globigerinoides sacculifer,G.ruber,Neogloboquadrina dutertrei,Globigerinita glutinata,Globigerinella aequilateralis and Pulleniatina obliquiloculata,showed obvious seasonal changes.The fluxes of planktonic foraminifera in the Xisha trap mainly occurs during the winter half-year,with two obvious peaks,which appear in the intermittent monsoon period and the prevailing winter monsoon period.The fluxes of planktonic foraminifera in the Nansha trap is closely related to the monsoon,showing a“bimodal”pattern,with higher fluxes during the monsoon prevailing periods,from December to March in winter and from May to August in summer.The peak flux of the Nansha trap in summer is mainly contributed by Globigerinoides sacculifer.In addition,Globigerina bulloides appears mainly in winter,while Globigerinoides conglobatus only appears in summer,both with a relatively lower abundance.This suggests that the former is a potential winter proxy-species,and the latter a potential summer proxy-species,in the South China Sea.
