摘要
张友松版汉语译著再现了马克•吐温口语体文学作品《傻瓜威尔逊》的语言风格,但译文仍存在部分典型翻译问题。在语体学理论视角下基于文本细读、量化统计和思辨方法,对张友松版译文中的典型翻译策略和翻译失当例句进行研究发现,松散句式、方言和俚话等口语体语言通过补译、换译、对译和副文本方法等翻译策略,较大程度还原了原著语言风格,突破了文化异质性语言障碍。通过评析该作品中口语体翻译的经验与不足,旨在为口语体文学翻译和翻译教学提供借鉴。
Zhang Yousong s translation of Pudd nhead Wilson reproduces the colloquial language style of Mark Twain s original works.However,there are also some improper translated vocabularies and sentences.From the perspective of stylistic theory,this paper studies the typical translation strategies and mistranslation examples by Zhang Yousong based on close text reading,quantitative statistics and critical thinking.It is found that supplementary translation,compensation,adaption and paratext methods are frequently used to translate dialects,slang and loose sentence patterns,which maintain the colloquial style of original works and facilitate cross-cultural communication.The aim is to provide reference for improving the translation and translation teaching of literary works in colloquial style through analyzing and evaluating the experience and shortcomings of Zhang s English-Chinese translation of Pudd nhead Wilson.
