基于学生自评数据的能力增值可靠吗?——来自归因理论的解释 被引量:4

Reliability of the Added Value Based on Self-assessment Data:An Explanation from Attribution Theory

摘要 研究以批判性思维能力及其增值为例,探讨追踪研究中自评数据的可靠性。研究发现,自评的能力增值具有低估偏向,并与测试得到的能力增值存在显著差异;九个自变量中仅"科研参与"同时对自评的和测试的能力增值产生显著正向影响。以测试的能力增值的OLS回归结果、分位数回归结果为参照,发现学生对自评的能力增值的归因是基于经验认知的主观判断,他们倾向于将内部的、可控的就读经验感知为促进能力增值的原因域,导致"努力"程度与批判性思维能力增值间的归因错位和对批判性思维能力增值程度的"误认"。这说明自评数据是客观测试数据的代理人,而非替代品。该认识对研究者选择数据收集方法、设计能力测量工具、讨论模型运行结果具有方法论的意义。 Based on the longitudinal data of the National Assessment of Collegiate Capacity(NACC)in2016 and 2019,this article was to assess the reliability of self-assessment measures in the pretest-posttest design in the study of critical thinking ability.The study found that the added value measured by self-assessment tended to be underestimated comparing with the added value measured by tested score,and there was a significant difference between them.Among the nine independent variables,only one independent variable"research participation"had a significant positive effect on both types of the added value.Another independent variable"learning engagement"had a significant positive effect on the self-assessment added value,however had a significant negative effect on the objective added value.Taking the Ordinary Least Squares and Quantile Regression results of the test value-added as the reference,it was found that the attribution of the self-evaluation value-added was an intuitional causal judgment in the sense of the undergraduates,which was inconsistent with the reality to a certain extent.They tend to regard the internal and controllable learning experience perception as the cause domain of promoting ability appreciation,resulting in"effort"The attribution dislocation between the degree and the appreciation of critical thinking ability and the"misunderstanding"of the appreciation degree of critical thinking ability.All of the results suggested that the self-assessment data,especially in the cognitive field,was an agent,not a substitute,for the objective test data.This was of methodological significance for the academic circles to choose data collection methods,design capability measurement tools and analyze model results.
